JPMS invites articles contribution

Thursday, July 07, 2011 - Karachi—Journal of Pakistan Medical Students (JPMS), the first international, open access, peer reviewed, online medical student journal from Pakistan has invited international faculty and medical students to contribute their articles for publication.

Dr Qayyum, MD, MSH, Faculty of Medicine, Johns Hopkins is the executive editor of JPMS, being published from Dow University of Health Sciences. JPMS editorial board has editors from USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Korea, Egypt and many other countries.

The quarterly publication, that started in April 2011, is an-all inclusive journal and being a Pakistani or a student is not mandatory. The publishers in a statement on Wednesday said a platform is being provided to the students and young medical researchers to publish their work, interact with others and get guidance for their professional life.

JPMS, they said is currently established in 10 international and 35 national universities and institutes. —APP
