Punjab New School Timings
The new rule will be enforced across all schools within the territorial jurisdiction of the country’s most populated region Punjab, and the timing change will remain in effect until further notice.
The new directives government emphasized that the change in timing is intended to improve air quality and public health, as well as to align school schedules with environmental best practices. EPA urged all educational institutions to strictly adhere to the new timings to avoid any legal consequences.
This development is part of the ongoing efforts by the Punjab government to enhance environmental standards and reduce the adverse impact of early morning traffic and air pollution on students.
