A youth was killed over a land dispute in Bhalwal Police limits on Friday. The police said Ahsan Ali of Bhalwal had a dispute over a plot with Sarfraz who with his accomplices shot dead Ahsan and fled.
The body was handed over to the heirs after postmortem while the police registered a case against the accused.
Meanwhile, in Kasur three bodies were recovered from various parts of the district on Friday.
The police said passersby spotted the body of a 25-year-old man floating in the BRB Canal near Mustafaabad and informed the police while the body of 70-year-old Abdul Rashid was found by Phool Nagar Police Station.
Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified 25-year-old man was recovered from Chakoki canal near Changa Manga.
While, in Faisalabad two men found dead in different areas during the last 24 hours. According to police, Liaqat Ali of Chak No 117-JB was residing at his in-laws home in Chak No 202-RB Bhaiwala who was found dead.
