The Faqirabad police in Peshawar arrested four members of a gang involved in street crimes and robberies at gunpoint on Thursday. The police also recovered 26 snatched mobile phones, two motorbikes, and weapons from the accused.
According to media reports, the accused have been identified as Uzair, Shehzad, Ruhail, and Wasim, all residents of Peshawar. They have been accused of robbing several people of their valuables at gunpoint. The police said that the accused were arrested after a tip-off. They were nabbed during a raid in the Bashirabad area of Peshawar.
The police have registered a case against the accused and are further investigating the matter. In another development, the police in Peshawar raided a house where liquor was being prepared from chemicals harmful to human health.
