Punjab Primary and Secondary Health Secretary Sarah Aslam has said that the process of Corona vaccination is in full swing across the province.
She expressed her hope that the target of vaccination of one lakh persons a day will be achieved, adding that Pakistanis going abroad are also being vaccinated.
The Punjab government has started the process of walk-in vaccination for people aged 18 and above for complete vaccination of the population of the province.
Sarah Aslam said that change in Pfizer’s vaccine advice will now resolve the vaccination problem of those who have gone abroad, whereas previously the vaccine was being given to patients suffering from complex diseases and low immunity.
She said that the graph of corona cases is declining but due to the change in the nature of the virus, the fourth wave of the epidemic is being feared, so the citizens should use masks in the places of rush and get vaccinated.
