Under the framework of Paigham-e-Pakistan National Peace narrative as part of Dukhtaran-e-Pakistan engagement for peacebuilding and national integration, a one-day seminar was organized by Higher Education CPEC Unit of Government of KP in collaboration with Women Medical College, Abbottabad, EmpWomen Foundation, and national leadership of the narrative at women medical and dental college, Abbottabad.
Chairman Kashmir Committee, Sheryar Afridi was the chief guest of the event. Head, Higher Education CPEC unit KP Kashif Irshad, Fakhanda Vice President IIUI, DG CSC MS, Jennifer and Professor Muhaiman from the University of Haripur were the speakers of the event. While addressing the audience Afridi said that women are the most important contributors in the peace-building process being the primary institution of human development as a mother.
Head Higher Education CPEC Unit, Kashif Irshad said that today’s event is about the leading role of 50% population of the country who are the true shapers of the society as their transformational efforts are the most significant variable affecting the human approach to life.
The speakers stressed the audience play their role in spreading the narrative to all sectors of life for promoting national integration and social cohesion, peace building and prevalence of prosperity in the country and the world as a whole.
