The Punjab Women Development Department (WDD) is making efforts to ensure equality, equal opportunities and dignity of life for women as these are factors that play a key role in sustainable economic growth and social development.
To achieve these objectives, the women development department organized a 2-day training on Gender Mainstreaming, Gender Responsive Planning and Gender Responsive Budgeting with officers of the Cooperatives Department. The purpose was to build the capacity of officers about basic knowledge and ethical principles regarding gender.
