The University of Sargodha (UoS) and Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) North Cyprus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend academic and research collaborations.
The agreement was duly signed by UoS Vice Chancellor Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad and Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof Dr Aykut Hocanin.
Along with sharing similar values on the importance of educational standards and providing a variety of academic and research opportunities to students and faculty, both academic institutions are also contributing to scientific knowledge, cultural development and reputation.
Recognizing the importance of active engagement of academic members and researchers, both universities agreed to promote and encourage short and long term visits of students and academic staff.
Joint research activities in the fields of common interest and exchange of ideas for mutual benefit would also be promoted.
