The University of Okara (UO) made laurels in all of the six sports events, held among the teams of UO, University of Sahiwal and University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Depalpur Campus.

The sports events, including Tug of War, Athletics and Badminton, were hosted by the UAF. Both the male and female teams of the UO stood first in all three sports. The teams were led by Shehbaz Ibrahim, Coordinator at the Department of Sport Sciences & Physical Education. Commenting on his students’ glories, Shehbaz said, “We here at UO are following the vision of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Javaid Akhtar, to inculcate the tendencies of co-curricular activities among the students.

We have state-of-the-art sports complex where we regularly coach our teams.”
