ISLAMABAD – University of Okara is all over the internet in Pakistan as a camera drone captured sexual activity on varsity’s rooftop and it raised questions about the education system.
An FIR has been registered against a group of students who shot the clip and shared it online, causing huge embarrassment for the institution. The couple in the viral clip is yet to be identified by the university administration as a special committee has been formed.
The video scandal prompted outrage online while the university administration registered an FIR against male student identified as Ali Raza, and the two drone operators named Ali Shaan and Saumiya.
The FIR stated that Ali Raza, Ali Shaan and Saumiya entered the university without permission and illegally filmed immoral videos with a drone camera, later sharing them online. The incident dented university reputation and caused fear among students.
Univerisity of Okara administration urged police to arrest accused. UOK also suspended PRO, Security Officer and dismissed two daily wage employees.
Deputy Registrar confirmed that an initial investigation into the matter has been conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) office, with information being collected from university officials and staff.
