Two youth were killed and five people injured in separate road accidents in different road accidents in different areas of Faisalabad on Saturday, police said. An over speeding truck ran over a truck carrying two youth outside Subhan Adda near TMO office in Faisalabad. As a result of accident 24-year-old Husnain s/o Hayat was killed on the spot while his 18-year friend Mehmood s/o Khurshid was seriously injured.
A 25-year-old motorcyclist Basit s/o Khalid hailing from Chak 157-RB was killed after hit by a reckless driven passenger bus at Millat Road near Jamia Chishtia Chowk. Two residents of Liaqatabad including Abdul Shakoor and Sabtain s/o Talib Hussain were critically injured when two over speeding motorcycles collided head-on on Jhang Road near Ayub Colony.
An over speeding passenger bus knocked down a motorcycle near Sargodha Road interchange due to which two residents of Jhal Khanoana including 18-year Azam s/o Ashraf and 25-year Abdul Samad s/o Liaqat were seriously injured. Drivers of all accidents fled the scene. The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals and police after registering separate cases in all incidents started investigations.
Meanwhile a man has killed his wife over a domestic dispute in the area of Dijkot police station.
Police spokesman said here on Saturday that Saima Bibi resident of Chak No.243-RB Jhok Kharlan exchanged harsh words with her spouse Nadeem Amin over a domestic dispute.
Over this issue, the accused Nadeem along with his brother Saleem reportedly hit his wife in her head with bricks. As a result, Saima Bibi, a mother of 4 kids, received critical injuries and died on-the-spot before getting any medical assistance.—INP
