APHC-AJK convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar has said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has boosted the morale of the Kashmiris by projecting their just cause in the ongoing 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Mahmood Ahmed Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the way the Turkish President exposed the atrocities committed by Indian occupational troops in IIOJK and highlighted the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute at every forum was highly commendable. For this, he maintained, the Kashmiri people were beholden to the Turkish president.

He said that Tayyip Erdogan while pitching for a speedy resolution of the Kashmir dispute has, time and again, termed it as a threat to peace and stability in the South Asian region. Saghar urged the international community to take concrete steps to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute, once and for all. —INP
