Town Municipal Corporation, Gulshan-e-Iqbal in its meeting chaired by Chairman Dr. Fawad Ahmed unanimously approved the Rs 745m balance budget here on Tuesday. On this occasion, Dr. Fawad Ahmed while addressing the Council members said that Gulshan-e-Iqbal is the only TMC in the country that has set the budget based on performance. He said that the revenue targets are set in the budget on the basis of facts. The employees who are responsible for recovery will also be rewarded on the basis of best performances and Employee of the Month will also be declared, he added. He said that community centers will be established in GulshanIqbal town where social and healthy activities will be promoted including the digital library.
Vice Chairman Ibrahim Siddiqui, Municipal Commissioner JavedKalwer, and other officers participated in the meeting.
