The First Vice Minister, Korean Ministry, Mr. Choi Jong Kun along with with his delegation called on Secretary, National Security Division, Mr. Aamir Hasan in his office and discussed issues of mutual concern.
The Vice Minister expressed the gratitude of Korean Government for the help provided by Pakistan for evacuation of Korean nationals from Afghanistan following the change of regime in that country.
The Secretary, National Security Division, Mr. Aamir Hasan welcomed the Honorable guests and stated that Pakistan is a responsible state and wants to ensure peace in Afghanistan and the region.
The recent help provided by Pakistan in evacuating foreigners from Afghanistan has been universally acknowledged and created goodwill for the country.
The Secretary, National Security Division, Mr. Aamir Hasan explained the salient features of the new geo-economic paradigm developed by Pakistan recently, the core of which was economic security and suggested the Korean Government to enter into a development partnership with Pakistan which would be of mutual benefit to both the countries.
The distinguished guest appreciated the new geo-economic Paradigm of Pakistan and assured the Secretary, National Security Division of conveying the broad parameters of the same to his Government.
He also invited the Secretary to visit Korea to share this paradigm with the Korean Economic Ministries and think tanks.
At the end, the Secretary, National Security Division, Mr. Aamir Hasan presented two important books on the rich culture and heritage of Pakistan to the distinguished guests.
