TEVTA Chairperson Ali Salman Siddique has said that in keeping with the situation created by Covid-19, TEVTA Punjab started e-learning courses. The marketing campaign for the initial course met with a thundering response with 33,000 applications against 500 capacity.
TEVTA Punjab for the first time kept a strong check on its quality & today by grace of Allah, we have shared one of first achievements of those who completed the course. Our student Naveed Ahmed Shaheen has done an e-learning course from TEVTA under the Khushaal Puraman Pakistan Program. He has done a total e-commerce business of Rs 6.7 million, made Punjab TEVTA proud and has become a beacon of hope and torch bearer for millions of youth across country.
Speaking on the achievement, Ali Salman Siddique said that TEVTA Punjab has embarked on a new journey and has developed a new digital transformation roadmap.
Initially the focus was on training but now, I have come to TEVTA to provide students with end to end solution from quality training in demand driven courses to economic opportunities thus doing skill empowerment and establishing a new skill ecosystem.
This is the new vision of TEVTA and these examples are proof of our successful policies. He said that youth is our capital and we are on mission under the leadership of chief minister & prime minister to provide skilled human resource for jobs locally and abroad and turn Pakistan into a knowledge economy.
Furthermore, He said that keeping in view future demand and covid-19 situation we started e-learning with our partners a few months ago and started various courses including, artificial intelligence, data analysis, data sciences, e-commerce -training, and digital marketing.
Ali Salman Siddique further said that these courses are providing students with full economic opportunities not just today but for decades to come and digital TEVTA will play a crucial role in success of digital Pakistan.
