The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NCTA) has issued a high-level terror alert to all relevant departments, particularly in Karachi, Sindh. The alert, marked as “MOST IMMEDIATE,” warns of potential terrorist activities in Karachi, with a specific focus on suicide bombing threats. According to the alert, four unidentified terrorists, identified as Arsalan, Mushtaq, Abid, and Ghazanfar, are suspected of planning a suicide bombing attack in various locations across Karachi. In response to the threat, the Chief Secretary Sindh, Karachi Home Secretary Sindh, Karachi Police, and DG Pak Rangers Sindh have been instructed to implement heightened security measures.
Vital installations such as the Sindh Assembly, CM House Sindh, Press Club Karachi, and Sindh High Court are to be closely monitored, along with hospitals and schools. The NCTA emphasizes extreme vigilance and heightened security measures to prevent any untoward incidents.
