Tent pegging competitions held under a species of District Bar Association Hafizabad in connection with celebrating ‘Jashan-e-Baharan’. District and Session Judge Malik Mushtaq Elahi Bangi , President Bar Malik Waqas Raza and General Secretary Bar Muzamal Aziz Gujjar gave away to position holders.
On the occasion, District and Session Judge Malik Mushtaq Elahi Bangi appreciated the Bar Association to arrange tent pegging competition to provide free of cost recreational opportunity to people. Sports activities play important role in mental and physical growth of the youth as well as to create sportsman sprit among the youth which prove helpful to prove helpful to make the youth useful and responsible citizens in future life, he added.
On the other hand health department Hafizabad launched three-day Health Festival at District Headquarter Hospital, on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich inaugurated the festival. CEO Health Hafizabad Dr. Fareha Akram Malik and other officers were also accompanied by him.
DC said on the occasion that health festival was held to provide better health facilities under same roof on the directions of the Punjab government.
He said that all diagnostic and treatment facilities were being given to patients free of cost in the festival at same place instead of visiting different rooms and places in the hospital.
DC also visited emergency, outdoor, CCU ward, Labouratory, X-ray room etc. to review availability of medicines and other facilities to patients in the hospital. CEO Health Dr. Fareha Akram Malik informed on the occasion that health festivals were also arranged at THQ Hospital Pindi Bhttian,
