Body of teenage girl stashed in gunny bag found while bid to abduct a 15 years old girl was foiled in two different incidents in the limits of Hassanabdal Police station on Friday.
In the first incident, body of teenage girl packed in gunny bag found along with bank of river Haro in village BhallarJoggi in Jehri Kasschowki area was found.
Police sources said that some peasants working in the fields spotted body in gunny bag and informed police who have moved the body to tehsil headquarters hospital where it was revealed that the body is of a teenage girl who was strangled to death and later his body was thrown there to conceal the crime.
The body was not identified till filing this news report. Six persons among them two women were arrested for attempting to abduct 15 years old girl in Burhan area in the limits of Hassanabdal Police station on Friday, police sources said.
Ghulam Fareed has reported to Police that his daughter engagement was made with Muhammad Rehman one year ago which was cancelled one month ago due to his dubious character. On the Friday, Rehman along with his relatives Muhammad Hashim, Umer Shahzad, ZeeshanI qbal along with two female abducted his daughter in a Suzuki van.
Some villagers who have seen the adduction have made call on police help line 15 subsequently police intercepted the van and recovered the girl. Later all the six abductors were sent behind the bars after registration of a case against the nominated persons. Separately, Fatehjang Police arrested five persons red handed while gambling in open place, however two suspects managed to escape arrest and fled successfully.
