TDCP launches ‘Online Training Programme’

To face challenge in the wake of corona outbreak, Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (ITHM) under Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has announced “Online Live Training Programme” at Lahore Campus from June 25.
This programme is initiated to equip the youth to generate self-jobs after getting necessary training. On directions by Advisor to CM Punjab on Tourism and Archaeology Asif Mehmood, six weeks IT courses is being introduced.
The courses which included digital marketing and graphic designing will lead to eventually promotion of tourism in Punjab. TDCP Managing Director Tanveer Jabbar told that through TDCP portal this training programme has been introduced countrywide and in initial phase, more than 250 candidates have applied for registration. “This is, said the MD, first online live training programme introduced by any public sector organization in Pakistan”. TDCP has set up a special classroom to launch online training programme, he concluded.
