Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar assailed on Sunday former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari over contesting the general elections from NA-127 Lahore. Addressing the workers’ convention in Lahore, Tarar said: “What kind of significant project had been completed in Karachi that now you [Bilawal]make your way to Lahore? How dare they [PPP] be to come to Lahore?”
“Lahore is the stronghold of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. The people of the city loves Nawaz Sharif. PML-N had clinched victory over Lahore even in difficult circumstances,” the former SAPM said. He lavished his praise on Nawaz Sharif, saying, “When the country was facing severe hardships, Nawaz Sharif came to its rescue.” PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday asserted that his party was about to become the “strong political force” in the country’s political landscape. Addressing a press conference in Karachi, the former prime minister expressed his resolve to take “everybody on board” in a bid to uplift the country.
“It is fundamental to put out all-out efforts for the sake of the country’s prosperity,” he said. Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the newcomers to the party.
