Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan claimed that former PML-N MNA Talal Chaudhry harassed the female lawmaker by going to her home.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, the minister claimed, “Talal Chaudhry harassed a woman from his own party. This shameful act of Talal Chaudhry has affected the political dignity of Nawaz League.”
He said while quoting Talal Chaudhry, “Secret political meetings at night usually result in injuries. I have seen such kind of political meetings for the first time taking place late at night.” He said that Talal used to utter negative words about the private life of his opponents and now he has met his fate.
He said that all the footage of Talal Chaudhry was taken inside the house of a female lawmaker. Police have received calls on 15 from both sides. If the incident reported is fake, then strict action can be taken against both of them, said the minister.
He said that Talal Chaudhry held a rally in Faisalabad four years ago and made the worst gestures about Imran Khan.
“Maryam Safdar applauded him by calling Talal at Prime Minister’s House. Maryam Safdar used to appreciate him in her daily meetings.
Now let’s see when Maryam Nawaz expels Talal Chaudhry from PML-N.” Chohan said Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz try to save their corruption under the cover of the 18th Amendment, and when they are questioned they usually become claimants of democracy.
He said Nawaz Sharif’s statement against the institutions has triggered anger among the party members Criticizing JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he said Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s property is all over Pakistan but his vote bank is in only three districts. Chohan said Maulana Fazlur Rehman will have to undergo the accountability process.
He revealed that NAB is conducting a massive investigation against JUI-F leader. The minister added that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar decided that cases of harassment of women will be looked into by the Information Department itself.
In addition to this, he said that the Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif deserved an Oscar award for acting.
