A pitiless man poisoned his two minor daughters to death while two including his wife and another daughter was hospitalized in critical condition. Police said accused Haq Nawaaz hailing from village 38/12-L of Chichwatni was annoyed with his wife over repeated domestic quarrels. To get rid of her, the culprit administered poison to his wife and three daughters mixing into soft drink.
Condition of woman and her three minor daughters deteriorated due to taking poisonous cold drink. While being shifted to hospital, Noureen 05, and Sehrish 07, expired and Sana Bibi and Swaira 08, were hospitalized in DHQ Hospital Sahiwal in critical condition. The police after registering a case against the culprit started raids for his arrest.
Peshawar: A woman has poisoned her stepdaughter to death on the day of her wedding in a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa village on Sunday. According to the details, the bride, Naila, was given poison by her stepmother at their home as the groom led his wedding procession into the house in a Lower Dil village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. But the bride, attired in the red wedding dress, breathed her last as soon as the wedding party reached back at the groom’s home.
A case has been registered against the stepmother after a medical examination revealed that the girl was given poison. Naila, daughter of Sherbaz Khan, was given poison just before the wedding party was to leave the bride’s home.
