Six terrorists killed, 4 soldiers martyred in South Waziristan gun battle

RAWALPINDI – Security forces have killed six terrorists during an exchange of fire in South Waziristan district.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement, said four brave sons of soil Havildar Nisar Hussain, Naik Rashid Gul, Naik Irfan Ullah Khan and Sepoy Usman Rafaqat, having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

The statement said security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

Earlier this month, four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces at three different locations in Tirah Valley of Khyber District.

However, during the intense fire exchange, three brave sons of soil Havildar Inam Gul, Sepoy Muhammad Imran and Sepoy Iltaf Khan having fought gallantly embraced martyrdom.
