Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said that Maulana should refrain from making controversial statements against the state institutions.
“The JUI-F should feel ashamed standing by the side of Maryam Nawaz because he is against the rule by a woman.” The SACM said that Maulana is doing politics in the name of religion just for his personal interest and has nothing to do either with democracy or Islam. She regretted that the Calibri Queen couldn’t answer about abusing rights of the people of South Punjab despite PML-N’s rule for 10 years.

Talking to media, Dr Firdous said that Maulana was trying to create instability in the country with Bilawal on one side and Maryam on the other. She said that Maulana’s focus was more on politics in Islamabad than Islam, which has exposed him. “Maulana is sitting by the side of ‘Yazeed’ and calling himself ‘Hussani’,” she added. She said the people of Bahawalpur had buried the narrative of PDM and the politics of PDM was over.
The SACM said that there was no difference between the narrative of PDM and our enemy India and former interior minister Rehman Malik had exposed the PPP. She said that India wanted to destabilize Pakistan and create unrest in the country but the Pakistan army exposed (New Delhi) by disclosing that India was propagating against Pakistan through 750 fake social media and instagram accounts. She said PDM’s immature leaders were carry forwarding the Indian mission to defame Pakistan and appeasing Indian Prime Minister Modi with their statements. She said that PTI had started election campaign for by-polls in NA75 Daska and the announcement of Aslam Gujjar to join PTI was a setback for the PML-N.
Later, the SACM chaired a meeting at Alhamra Office to review departmental progress and initiatives. Secretary Information Raja Jahangir Anwar, DGPR Dr Muhammad Aslam Dogar and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the Muslim League-N and Peoples Party had made a dacoity on the rights of the people of southern Punjab in their respective tenures. Instead of carving out a separate province, they stole the south Punjab funds and befooled the masses with hollow slogans.
In a statement, she said these elements are now displaying a deceitful commiseration for south Punjab. The people have already rejected the looters and the PTI government has also honoured the trust shown by the voters of south Punjab, she continued.
The CM Usman Buzdar has given the people of south Punjab their rights and south Punjab secretariat is helping to resolve problems at the grassroots, she said. The people of south Punjab love PM Imran Khan and CM Usman Buzdar as the PTI has laid the foundation of solid development in south Punjab by taking practical steps. She asserted the PTI government has brought forth the south Punjab secretariat and it will also establish a separate province. One can only wonder at the wisdom of those politicizing the issues of corona and south Punjab, she said.
