Under the chairmanship of Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, the 11th meeting of the Sindh Mass Transit Authority Board was convened, where the minutes of the 10th board meeting were approved.
Discussions were also held regarding the Karachi Mobility Project Yellow Line bus service, as well as the construction of bus depots, bridges, and underpasses. Addressing the meeting, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized the necessity of increasing facilities in response to the growing population.
He announced plans to increase the number of buses according to the people’s needs and expressed the government’s commitment to expedite the completion of transportation projects to ensure the provision of the best travel facilities to the public. The meeting was attended by Sikandar Arslan Islam Sheikh, Transport Secretary Asad Zaman, MD SMTA Kamal Dayo, and other stakeholders.
