The Sindh government has taken a bold step toward reducing environmental pollution by banning the use of disposable plastic mineral water bottles in all government offices.
The decision, made during a Cabinet meeting, reflects the Chief Minister’s concern over the rising plastic waste crisis. In a move to promote eco-friendly practices, all government offices will now replace plastic bottles with jugs and glasses.
The General Administration Department has issued a circular to ensure immediate implementation across all departments. The government also urges other sectors to follow suit and adopt similar sustainable measures.
