Self-centered bigots can’t be called leaders CM says opp could no more hoodwink public with tirade

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday emphasized that the politics of chaos can never change destiny of nations, saying that those preferring personal interest to that of national could not be called leaders.
The chief minister maintained that opposition cannot hoodwink the masses through their contemptuous tirade against the institutions. The dual nature of the opposition leaders has been fully exposed and opposition’s gatherings cannot dent the government. The time is not far when opposition alliance will be withering away and the government will complete its term, concluded the CM.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar gave a go-ahead to establishment of Sahulat Bazaars in more cities of Punjab after Lahore to provide relief to inflation-hit masses.
He directed the additional local government secretary to take steps for swift establishment of such markets to provide essential food items to people at cheaper rates. Following the CM’s approval, the additional secretary directed his department to set up Sahulat Bazaars.
The local government department’s special secretary has been named a focal person for Sahulat Bazaars. Six such markets have already been set up in the provincial capital. People will be able to get essential commodities at official rates at these markets.
The meeting headed by the prime minister mulled over measures to bring down prices of wheat, sugar, and other essential commodity items. The meeting was attended by members of the economic team, federal ministers, Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and provincial chief secretaries.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed indignation over an incident in which pictures of maltreatment of girl students of Govt. Girls Elementary School Rukanpur RY Khan went viral. He sought a report from the secretary school education department and directed strict departmental action against the teachers.
Meanwhile, CEO (Edu) RY Khan has issued notification of suspension of headteacher (secondary) Hameeda Farooq and elementary school teacher Shehla Farooq and further action has been started under the PEEDA Act.
Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives due to the collapse of the roof in Okara. He extended sympathies to the heirs and directed to provide the best treatment to the injured children. He has also sought a report from Commissioner Sahiwal.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed displeasure over kite flying in some areas of the provincial metropolis and directed the CCPO Lahore to submit a report about the injury of a motorcyclist in Gulbahar colony due to kite twine. Incidents of kite flying are intolerable, he stressed. He directed to take legal action against those involved in kite flying. The CM also directed to provide the best treatment to the injured.
