Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has said that the next President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir will be from PTI and political opponents will face defeat in AJK like they faced in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

“The investment of 1.5 billion dollars in Roshan Digital account is an expression of confidence in government policies.”

Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar stated this during meeting with PTI Central Member Shoukat Basra, and a delegation of the party workers from Azad Kashmir at Governor’s House on Monday.

The governor said that the opposition can create as many hurdles as it wants but the government will not budge an inch from its commitment to give the right of vote to Overseas Pakistanis.

Ch Sarwar said the Prime Minister Imran Khan is not only the ambassador of Kashmiris, he is also raising voice for the Muslims of Palestine as well.

He said that the federal government is providing all the resources for the development of Azad Kashmir, adding that for the first time, steps are being taken for the equal development across Pakistan. He said that economy of country is boosting and it is making progress in every sector.

He maintained that the government will fulfil all promises made to the people under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Ch Sarwar said that the People stand united with government policies, not with those who destabilized the country.

He said that the federal and provincial governments have given people friendly budgets, adding that the federal budget will also be approved by the majority votes.

He further said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan believes in the rule of law and he will never back down from this.

He said that the government is taking practical steps to bring reforms in all the institutions in the country.

The Punjab governor said that opposition should stop dreaming for victory in the elections of Azad Kashmir.

The opposition will be defeated in the general elections of Azad Kashmir in the same manner as it has lost elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, and the decision of public will be in the favor of PTI, he added.

He said that the government’s decision to give the right to vote to the overseas Pakistanis is not being tolerated by the opposition and they are trying to create hurdles in this process.

However, despite opposition’s hurdles the government will give the right of vote to overseas Pakistanis.

Shoukt Basra said that the opposition is trying to mislead the nation but it will fail and the government will complete its constitutional term.
