Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan visited Expo Center vaccination here on Sunday.
He got the second dose of the vaccine administered to his parents and monitored the overall vaccination process. He took feedback from different people visiting the center.
Present on the occasion were Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Ms. Sarah Aslam and Director General Rescue 1122 Dr. Rizwan Naseer.
Dr. Faisal Sultan said, “I am greatly relieved to see such excellent arrangements at the Expo Center and I greatly appreciate Govt of the Punjab and the Health Department for making such excellent arrangements for the elderly citizens.
On directions from Prime Minister Imran Khan, the vaccination of senior citizens is underway across the country. People visiting Expo Center have expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
Health facilities are being improved further across the country for COVID-19 patients including Punjab.
Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid has been very active against the Pandemic despite her own illness. We greatly appreciate and acknowledge her services during the Corona Pandemic.”
A senior citizen said the credit of best arrangements goes to Prime minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
He said he especially prayed for Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Yasmin Rashid for facilitating elderly citizens.
The SAPM said the government was enhancing health facilities in the wake of increasing corona cases in the country as well as in Punjab.
Talking to the media, he expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the health department for citizens.
He appreciated the Punjab government and Health department for facilitating the senior citizens at vaccination centers across the province.
He said that as per the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the vaccination process was effectively underway in well-organized manners across the country.
Eulogizing the Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, he said that she looked active in war against coronavirus despite her own health issues.
