Interfaith and intrafaith harmony and promotionOffice of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Religious Harmony Government of Pakistan Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan/Khatib and Imam of Badshahi Mosque Lahore Ambassador of Peace Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad in Islamabad, in which they discussed the establishment of peace in Pakistan, religious harmony, tolerance, elimination of violent attitudes, respect for humanity and promotion of the message of Pakistan. During the meeting, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad said that today the Islamic world is in dire need of unity and solidarity. Islam teaches us the lesson of unity of the Ummah, peace, brotherhood, respect for humanity and brotherhood.
The beloved homeland of Pakistan is a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Inter-religious and intrafaith harmony is an important need of the hour for establishing peace in Pakistan. Maulana Azad said that establishing lasting peace in Karam is the responsibility of all of us. Scholars should give the message of unity through the pulpit and mihrab.
The enemy forces want to damage the national unity of Pakistan by spreading religious hatred and creating instability. All scholars and the entire nation stand by the Pakistani Armed Forces and national security institutions for the security, safety and defense of Pakistan. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs of Pakistan Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that the beloved homeland of Pakistan came into existence after the sacrifices of millions of people.
