SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Thursday expressed profound grief and sorrow on the demise of its former President Tariq Sayeed.
In a condolence meeting chaired by SAARC chamber President Iftikhar Ali Malik here today said Tariq Sayeed was a legendary, highly acclaimed and immensely popular business leader of South Asia.
Paying rich tributes, he said deceased will be remembered in the days to come for his patriotism and passion for economic prosperity of the country.
President UBG Zubair Tufail briefly speaking said deceased leader inspired and motivated the entire generation of business community for playing their key role towards national development.
Secretary General UBG Zafar Bakhtawari said deceased was a guiding light for all of us and a highly respected figure in the business community.
Secretary Information UBG Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said deceased also held a number of other offices for the promotion of trade among various foreign countries especially within South Asia. Earlier the participants offered “ Fateha” for deceased.
