Armed robbers deprived 11 citizens of cash, mobile phones and other valuables during broad day light here on Saturday. According to details, seven armed robbers riding three motorcycles installed picket at Tasveer Mahal Road in Sheikhupura and started looted citizens.
The robbers deprived 11 citizens including girl’s college students of cash, cell phones and other valuables and sped calmly without any fear of being chased or arrested.
It was 10th robbery incident in the jurisdiction of A-Division police station during last one week and people of locality feel insecure due to poor performance of police as no accused of a single robbery has been yet arrested.
Meanwhile, the residents of the area including traders held protest demonstration against surge in robberies. The protestors expressing concerns over the police failure have demanded transfer of SHO A Division.
