A high level meeting regarding the proposed Surizai Housing Scheme to be launched under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme was held here the other day with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan in the chair.
The meeting discussed and reviewed various matters related to the project with special focus on resolving issues impeding physical progress on the project and important decisions were taken to this effect.
Provincial Minister for Housing Dr. Amjid Ali, Special Assistant to CM Kamran Bangash, Chief Secretary Dr. Kazim Niaz, Inspector General of Police Muzzam Jah Ansari, Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, Senior Member Board of Revenue Syed Zafar Ali Shah, Principal Secretary to CM Amjad Ali Khan, Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsood and other relevant high ups attended the meeting.
Briefing about the various aspects of the project, the meeting was informed that Surizai Housing Scheme has been planned over 8500 canal of land which is being established under Naya Pakistan Housing Program.
A memorandum of understanding had been signed between Pakistan Housing Authority and Provincial Housing Authority for the implementation of the project.
The project would consist of around 16000 gray structure units which would be offered to government servants and other people.
