Provincial Secretary Zakat and Ushr, Punjab, Sulman Ijaz has said that second phase of Reach Every Door anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign will continue till December, 31 and all concerned departments must be achieved their target during the drive whereas government was tightened implementation on preventive measures against coronavirus so that people could be saved from this epidemic.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held to review progress on ongoing RED corona vaccination campaigns in the district Hafizabad, on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan, ADCR Imran Asmat, ADCG Hamid Nasir Gorayya, CEO Health Dr. Rehan Azhar, AC Murad Hussain and officers of other departments attended the meeting.
Secretary said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad, hundred percent male and female students were inculcated corona vaccine in the district which is a laudable performance of concerned officers and officials.
He stressed the need of anti-corona vaccination for all people to save himself and our beloved ones from fifth waves of corona epidemic.
He said that government was tightened implementation on preventive measures against coronavirus so that people could be saved from this epidemic.
Deputy Commissioner informed the meeting that hundred percent vaccination of students was completed in the district, however, vaccination teams were still visiting door to door and educational institutions for giving corona vaccine.
He also told that meeting that 161 mobile teams were constituted to inculcated corona vaccine during second phase and two lack seventy five thousand people would be vaccinated in second phase of RED campaign.
Later, the Secretary inspected various schools and reviewed vaccination process underway in the schools.
