LAHORE – A spell of rain is expected in various parts of the country from Saturday (today), said the Pakistan Metrological Department.
The intensity of cold may increase in the country due to rain.
The cold and strong winds are also likely to enter Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab, with expected snowfall in mountainous in different regions.
The MET office said that the western winds would enter the upper regions of the country starting from today. Later, rain is expected from today until December 8 in Murree, Galyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and several areas of Punjab.
Similarly, the rain and snowfall in mountainous areas have also been predicted for Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
