An agreement was signed between Punjab University Confucius Institute and Orange Line Metro Train here on Thursday.
The MoU was signed by the Host Director of PU Confucius Institute Prof Dr Shafiq ur Rehman and General Manager Li Teng.
As per agreement, teachers from the PU Confucius Institute will teach Urdu and Chinese language to the higher management of Orange Line Metro Train. It was a bilingual training which Confucius Institute provides to the Orange Line Metro Train employees. Confucius Institute already collaborated with Orange Line Metro train in cultural activities.
On this occasion, PU Confucius Institute faculty members, staff and the delegations from orange line metro train were present.
Host director Prof Dr Shafiq ur Rehman said that it was a great initiative to strengthen the cultural and bilingual relationship between Chinese and Pakistani people.
