With top party leaders in jail, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf saw new faces including Sher Afzal Marwat, who stirred controversy within the party ranks.

In his media talk, Sher Afzal raised questions at Barrister Ali Zafar, and Gohar Ali Khan, pointing out their mishandling of post-election affairs.
Marwat said Barrister Gohar should have taken a more prominent role after the elections, saying his incompetency caused concern within PTI. He also supported Barrister Ali Zafar’s candidacy for the position of PTI Chairman in the upcoming intra-party elections, showing dissatisfaction with Barrister Gohar’s perceived lack of effectiveness.
