Islamabad United defeated Quetta Gladiators to become the second team to reach the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 playoffs while securing second place in the league points table.
Their two-wicket win at Pindi Cricket Stadium takes them above Multan Sultans who can make amends with a win over United tomorrow.
Gladiators, meanwhile, remain bottom of the table after dropping their fifth game in a row. They will have a chance to restore some pride when they take on Karachi Kings tonight.
