Chairperson Chief Minister’s Special Initiative Committee and Ex-Federal Minister Saira Afzal Tara said that provision of better health facilities besides other amenities of life to the people is top priority of the Chief Minister of the Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She expressed these views while visiting District Headquarter Hospital Hafizabad to review availability of medicines and other necessary treatment facilities to the patients.
Local leader of PMLN Sheik Gulzar Ahmad, Ali Husnain Tarar, ADCG Hamad Ullah, Medical Superintendent DHQ Dr. Shakeel Ahmad Shahid, DHO Dr. Faiq Ali Tarar, senior child specialists Dr. Abid Hussain Bhatti, District Information Secretary PMLN Hafizabad Muhammad Zaman Bhoon and other members of committee were also accompanied by her.
Saira Afzal Tarar inspected general emergency, children emergency, labouratory, X-Ray room, necessary and other wards and took feedback from patients regarding availability treatment facilities including medicines in the hospital. She said that rush of patients was reflected that better healthcare were being provided to patients under supervision of senior doctors.
She said that the Punjab government was focusing on improving treatment facilities in the hospitals throughout the Punjab including Hafizabad so that the best healthcare could be available to people at local level. She also said discussed proposal to established separate emergency unit for heart and Paralysis patients at DHQ hospital and assured that this suggestion would be take up with higher authorities at provincial level.
She urged the doctors and other staff to ensure their attendance timely and serving the ailing humanity a big worship and means of getting blessing almighty Allah as well as success in this world and hereafter. During the visit of Trauma Centre Hafizabad, she expressed her resentment over the worst condition of the centre.
