Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, ex-Premier AJK/Muslim Conference Supreme Head has said that in all socio-politico, parliamentary activities prime focus needs to be given to the centrality of diplo-defence and fast economic development of Pakistan that is a centre of aspirations of Jammu & Kashmir people. This should be regarded as a common national imperative, he added.

On Sunday he told office bearers of Concern for Kashmir Committee in his Mujahid Manzil residence here that promotion of national unity and interests have always been the chief thrust of his social-political role in keeping with the standards of sincerity of his father Mujahid-e-Awwal Sardar Mohammad Abdul Qayyum Khan. “All we need is a sharper fostering awareness for Pakistan’s wider geo-political pursuits as the heart of our entire gamut of national politics from Karachi to Kashmir; Muslim Conference is not only a political party, it is an irreversible ideological front in the region in Kashmiris self-determination struggle”, he remarked.

“Various cross currents and factors have turned our region extra-sensitive because of frozen arrogance of India. She is a known deviationist of UN’s Kashmir rulings despite signed pledges in and outside of the UNO. India is a culpable violator of gross human rights and political denier in Kashmir. Imprisoning today of whole population of Kashmir and perpetration of human rights abuses there fully expose India’s claims to democracy”, Sardar Attique pointed out.

He said that he feels the younger generations of countries of the world need updation on Kashmir as Kashmir dispute has passed 74 years of non-resolution as per UN mandate; we need fresh moves to influence the youth’s opinion the world over for which a well connected explanatory blueprint shall have to be evolved sooner, he added. The Concern for Kashmir Committee office holders thanked the ex-premier for his valuable input in promoting the just cause of Kashmir.
