Says all resources being utilized for provision of best facilities to public

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that the political future of the opposition is bleak and political opponents will continue to give dates of protests against the government till the arrival of general elections in 2023.
“The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken exemplary and historic initiatives in three years, which has no precedent in the past.”
Governor Ch Sarwar was talking to Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and other delegations from different districts of the country at Governor House on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Lahore visit and other matters came under discussion during meeting between the CM and governor.
It was decided that the projects of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority (PAPA) will be expedited to provide clean drinking water to the people.
The governor lauded the three-year initiatives of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s government, especially in health and education sectors.
Furthermore, Chaudhry Sarwar said that the government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to take the country forward but opposition wants to put it in reverse gear.
“But we will not allow the opposition’s plans to succeed in any way. Government does not have any threat from the opposition. General elections in the country will be held in 2023 and the decision of the people will come in favour of PTI.”
He said that the development and stability of the country is the top priority of the government. For the first time practical work is being done in federation and Punjab for development and stability of the country.
He said that all resources are being utilized for provision of best health and educational facilities.
The governor said that the people have also reposed full confidence in the policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the government, adding that there is no doubt that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken historic steps for the development of the province and welfare of the people.
Expressing gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar for his full cooperation in the projects of Punjab Aab-e-Pak authority, Chaudhry Sarwar said that work on 1,500 projects in Punjab is in full swing without any political discrimination and all these projects will be completed by December 2021.
He said that with the completion of these projects clean drinking water to more than 8 million people of Punjab will be provided and our promise to provide clean drinking water to the people of Punjab will be fulfilled.
