The North Cantt Police claimed to have arrested a kite seller and recovered a large quantity of kites and string.
SHO North Cantt Police Shiraz Khan was tipped off that two persons were waiting for a rickshaw at VIP Chowk with a large quantity of kites and strings.
He immediately led a team comprising Mubashir Jamil Tasi Asif, Constable Ali Raza and Mukhbar Khas to the spot.
However, as soon as the suspects spotted the police, they attempted to flee the scene. The police managed to nab one of them who was identified as Muhammad Mujahid, son of Abdul Rehman. He told the police that the one who fled away is his brother.
