Police arrest three people over killing of accused person

The Tando Allahyar police have booked three people in the FIR of killing of an accused person Khalil-ur-Rehman Khanzada alias Bholu, who was a worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).The police informed on Saturday that Asad Jiskani, Zeeshan Jiskani and Afzal Jiskani had been nominated under sections 302, 114 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code and section 6/7 of Anti Terrorism Act.

The police said Asad was arrested in injured condition moments after he shot dead Bholu on a road outside the District and Sessions Court Tando Allahyar on Friday.The slain person was going to attend a hearing in the court in the murder case of Altaf Jiskani who was killed in Tando Allahyar on November 18, 2020.Bholu, Aslam Rind, Zameer Rind and Mashooq alias Papu Rind were booked under sections 302 and 6/7 ATA for Jiskani’s murder.

The police said the assailant Asad who shot dead Bholu was a brother of Jiskani.Separately, Tando Allahyar police lodged 2 separate FIRs on the state’s complaint over the people allegedly involved in the violent reaction to Bholu’s death.According to DSP Aslam Langah, an office of the 15 emergency police, a mobile and some motorbikes were torched late on Friday night.Langah claimed that the mob pelted stones over the police personnel.He said the police booked 40 persons for the violence under the ATA law.The DSP told that 16 other people were booked in a separate FIR of obstructing duty because they prevented arrest of the accused persons.
