PML-N Parliamentary Board has interviewed 105 short listed candidates for 11 national and 23 provincial assembly seats in Sargodha region for the general elections and has started formulating its recommendations for the final decision.
The board, which is headed by former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and former President Mian Shahbaz Sharif, also includes Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chairman Election Cell Senator Ishaq Dar, Central General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal, Provincial President RanaSanaiullah, Coordinator Dr. Tariq Fazal Choudhary and senior members conducted the interviews of the applicants.
The next meeting of the Parliamentary Board will be held on Sunday, in which the interviews of the short listed candidates of Rawalpindi Division will be conducted. The Parliamentary Board has started formulating its recommendations for the final decision based on the recent interviews.—INP
