ISLAMABAD – If you are planning to travel Saudi Arabia, this could be your chance to avail discounted tickets of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The national flag carrier announced discounted fares for those planning to perform Umrah until July 15 2024.
A statement issued by PIA spokesperson said Umrah pilgrims flying from Asian nation to Madina can avail this offer from reduced ticket prices until July 15. The round-trip fare from Lahore or Islamabad to Madina is now Rs. 86,000, and from Karachi to Madina, it is Rs. 76,000, excluding taxes.
Earlier, these tickets cost around Umrah ticket cost Rs120,000.

These discounted rates are effective immediately and will be available until July 15, according to the spokesperson.
Umrah, which can be performed year-round at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, has a new season that began earlier this month, following the annual Hajj pilgrimage attended by 1.8 million Muslims worldwide. Saudi Arabia is reportedly aiming to increase the number of Muslims performing Umrah to 30 million annually.
