Citizens of Peshawar are availing state of the art and international standard best public transport service through Bus Rapid Transit system (BRT). According to the Spokesperson Trans Peshawar Mohammad Umair Khan since the resumption of the service till date more than 4.3 million commuters travelled through this service. BRT Buses successfully completed their 69thousand trips. More than 84 thousand Non-Free Zu cards were distributed among the citizens.
The said statistics are self-explanatory resulting success of the project. The project is being appreciated by all walks of life and every nook and corner of the province. Ridership of BRT fluctuated due to closure of all educational institutes of the city in wake of Covid-19. Moreover, as per set and standardized Key performance indicators of the project, the system is marked as safest, most reliable and time efficient.
Spokesperson Trans Peshawar stated that Peshawar BRT is a peerless project which is serving residents of the city on daily basis. In comparison to the old, orthodox and obsolete transport system of the city females and kids travel more safely through BRT. He added that citizens must own this project by following all stated guidelines and directions by the department.
