Met Office has predicted cold and dry weather for Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the weekend.
Under the current weather conditions, a shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country, and it will influence weather in the KP’s capital.
A shallow westerly wave is likely to enter the upper parts of the country from tomorrow (Thursday).
PMD said On Saturday, cold and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province while, partly cloudy in upper districts. It also predicted fog in Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Peshawar and D.I Khan.
Peshawar Weather Update
In the provincial capital, the maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 10-22 degrees Celsius on over the weekend.
In other parts of the country, mainly cold and dry weather is expected. Light rain, and snow over mountains, are likely at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and adjoining hilly areas.
Fog/smog is likely to persist in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.
