National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) marked a new milestone by inaugurating newly renovated facilities, including a private ward, a critical care unit, and a comfortable seating area for patients’ attendants.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, alongside NICVD Executive Director Professor Tahir Saghir.
During the event, Professor Tahir Saghir briefed the health minister on NICVD’s remarkable progress, ongoing medical advancements, and future plans aimed at enhancing patient care and services. Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho commended NICVD’s exceptional services, stating,
“NICVD is providing world-class medical facilities entirely free of cost, thanks to the continuous support of the Sindh government.” She further highlighted NICVD’s critical role in ensuring equitable access to advanced cardiac care across Pakistan.
