PCMAEA urges SBP to bring down interest rate

Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMAEA) welcoming the decision of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for not raising interest rate has urged to bring down interest rate further to boost economic activities in the country.

These views were expressed by Senior Vice Chairman PCMAEA, Riaz Ahmed while addressing a weekly review meeting here on Monday. The meeting was also attended by Chairperson Carpet Training Institute (CTI) Pervez Hanif, senior central leader Abdul Latif Malik, Saeed Khan, Muhammad Akbar Malik, Major (retd) Akhtar Nazir, Danial Hanif, Faisal Saeed Khan and others. The issues facing the carpet industry were discussed in the meeting and suggestions for their solution were given. Riaz Ahmed said if the future vision expounded by the Governor State is implemented in its true spirit then the business community will welcome it.
