The matches between Pakistan and Australia will be allowed to take place in front of a capacity crowd.
In a letter sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and relevant authorities of Sindh and Punjab, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) stated that the cricket board is allowed to host a full capacity crowd. NCOC’s decision comes in the wake of reduction in Covid-19 cases across the country.
Pakistan Cricket Board also just successfully hosted the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore with 100 percent crowd capacity allowed.
The notification also highlights the precautions that must be ensured for spectators to be allowed inside the stadium. Fully vaccinated spectators above the age of 12 and children below 12 years of age without vaccination are allowed to attend the matches. The spectators will also be required to follow strict Covid-19 protocols.
